How to Determine Your Fantasy Draft Order

By now, you have already selected your fantasy football draft board and kit! The next step is to determine the order for your draft. We have polled fantasy football commissioners, players, and experts to come up with the 5 best (and most fair) ways to conduct your fantasy football league draft.

5. Reverse Order from the Last Year League Standings

In all honesty, it pains me to even suggest this method. Unless people were throwing games last year (cough* 76ers), it's hard to argue that this is not the fairest way to determine your fantasy football draft order. Similar to how the NFL conducts their draft, the worst team in the league will get the #1 overall pick in this year's draft. 

4. Credit Card Roulette

A few hours before the draft begins, your entire league will meet up at your favorite sports bar or restaurant. You will all proceed to order an appetizer and as many drinks as you want. When it comes to pay for your meal, everybody will give the waiter / waitress a credit card. The waitress will shuffle the cards and remove one card at a time. The first card removed will get the last pick in the draft. The last card remaining must pay for dinner and drinks but will get the #1 pick in this year's draft. 

3. Madden Tournament

Determine your fantasy football draft order by competing in a bracket-style, madden tournament. Depending on how many teams are in your league, you may need to give a few guys a first-round bye. If you win, you move on to the next round, it's as simple as that! If you lose, you can still come back to place 3rd. 2. Online Wonderlic Exam

Yes, you can take the Wonderlic exam online, for free. The Wonderlic test is typically taken by NFL prospects during the NFL combine, so why not use it to determine your fantasy football draft order? Simply head over to this website, http://footballiqscore.com to take the test. You can choose to take the 50-minute test in 12 minutes, or a condensed test that will take 3 minutes and 36 seconds (ha. can you think of anything else that takes that long?) 

1. Pabst Blue Ribbon Poker

Did you know that on the bottom of a Pabst Blue Ribbon beer bottle (yes, bottle), you will find an image of a playing card? Heavy beer drinkers might already know this, but most people do not. Go to the local supermarket or liquor store and buy a 6 pack or 12 pack of PBR bottles to see for yourself. Each fantasy football team owner must drink a 6 pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer, and will play their best 5 card poker hand. Believe it or not, if you end up with a pair, there is a pretty solid chance you will end up with the first overall pick! If you end up with a royal flush, stop what you're doing and go buy a lottery ticket.
